Technics Turntable SL120 with Grace G707 tonearm and F8 cartridge in GLEN NIVEN, Queensland for sale
Hi, my name is Denis and up for sale today is my Technics Direct Drive Turntable Model SL-120 with Grace G-707 tone arm and legendary Grace cartridge F-8. All in excellent condition and fully working. Also comes complete with brand new audiophile grade tone arm cable which was very expensive to purchase, also included will be the original cable which unfortunately has one broken pin (maybe could be fixed) and extra Technics chassis earth cable for tricky earthing situations.
Reason for selling – just have too many turntables at the moment and need to part with a couple of them. This one is for sale reluctantly as it is a superb turntable/arm combination. Comes complete with G-707 tone arm in fully working order, Grace F-8 moving magnetic phono cartridge in excellent condition with a very good stylus which has heaps of life left in it.

Performance wise – Wow!, this classic combination is very hard to beat. The tone arm is tracking the F-8 cartridge at 1.25 grams and flies through my Shure obstacle course record with superb results. Even tracks the bass drum obstacle course track to the highest limits without any issues. Not many arm and cartridge combinations can do this. Whoever buys this classic combination will not be disappointed. Tone arm has been set up meticulously and has always given me superb results. The cueing lever works a treat. Speeds on the SL-120 turntable are very stable. Vinyl never sounded so good.
Cosmetic wise – in excellent condition all round. A few things to note here; one of the back hinges has got some very minor surface rust, not major; some very minor pitting here and there, again not major (this is very common on early Technics SL-1200/SL-120); a smudge or two here and there as well. Also perspex top is in great condition, no cracks or dings, maybe the odd light scratch here and there. In saying all this presents very well indeed and will be pride of place in someones audio system.
People who have purchased items off me in the past know how fussy I am with all of my audio equipment and this turntable is absolutely no exception.

As far as postage goes this turntable can easily be posted through Australia Post without any problems, at the buyers expense. Rest assured it will be very well packed. Pick up from The Summit, Queensland is also an option. If anyone in the Brisbane area is interested in this turntable I can deliver to the north side of Brisbane on Friday 20th May at no charge to the buyer.
